Mayor Cristian Cardozo visited the integral works underway in Plaza Islas Malvinas to continue the improvement and beautification of the Aguas Verdes Civic Center, which already began last year with the paving of the entire area.

In this sense, Cardozo announced that the resurfacing works of the access avenue to the city and the Aguas Verdes seafront will begin soon, which will also include new biobajadas. Progress will also be made with the installation of 300 LED lights.

“These paving works that we are going to start are in addition to the belt that we have recently carried out around the entire civic center to communicate and provide better accessibility to the school, the garden, the church, the sports center and CAPS »remarked the mayor.

Since the administration of Mayor Cristian Cardozo, a significant investment has been made in improving public space throughout the neighborhood. For this, asphalting and road improvement works are underway, accompanied by the installation of LED lighting on various fronts.

Full paving plan in full swing on La Costa

Mayor Cristian Cardozo has confirmed that Villa Clelia will have a new sidewalk in 21 blocks: Güiraldes d’Espora to Pueyrredón and from Colectora to Estanislao del Campo, Sacconi and Blanco Encanalada streets. And he also announced that more blocks will be paved in the area of ​​the Mar de Ajó Norte educational pole: on Diagonal San Clemente, from Miter to Costanera and on Santiago del Estero, from Diagonal San Clemente to Drumond (from San Bernardo), including including the two blocks where Higher Institute No. 89, Primary School No. 8 and Secondary School No. 8 are located.

Since the beginning of this year, work has been carried out on 200 new asphalt blocks to integrate neighborhoods, institutions, schools and shopping centers. Currently, one of the most important works in progress is the paving of San Juan and Tucumán streets, which allows the construction of an internal corridor linking San Bernardo, Costa Azul and Lucila del Mar, and thus transit through Mendoza street.

Progress has also been made with new asphalt and LED lighting in San Clemente, on Avenue III de Talas del Tuyú at the Municipal School of Fine Arts, where six blocks have been paved to reach the establishment of teaching which borders the municipal crèche.

In San Clemente, the new asphalting of Naval Avenue will also continue soon, as well as the placement of LED lighting and traffic lights. In a first step, the section of Av. Naval has been paved, which runs from Calle 80, at the bus station, to Avenida I. And now it will continue from Calle 28 to Calle IX, joining all of Avenida Naval with asphalt and LED lighting .

Likewise, the municipality has designed a work plan that will be carried out in the central area of ​​the neighborhood. This program includes the new asphalt on Diagonal 21 in the neighborhood of Las Quintas, from 17th and 50th streets to 14th and 45th streets, to unite with the roadway this populated neighborhood of Santa Teresita, where the kindergarten No. 911, the primary n ° 13, the Municipal Sports Center, the Municipal Swimming Pool and the High Level Sports Center.

In terms of revenue, the new sidewalk and LED lights were built on Roldán Avenue in Nueva Atlantis and at the historic entrance to Mar del Tuyú via Avenue 94, both accessible by sand. And the paving of the accesses to San Bernardo, Lucila del Mar and Mar del Tuyú by Av. 79 has also been carried out.
