UX Writer

What UX Writer You will be responsible for writing branded copy that appears and fits on every website in our country for various job search related products for job seekers and clients.

What will you do:

  • Compose and edit original texts for a range of products aimed at job seekers and clients;
  • Write simple, straightforward content that guides users through user flows (navigation, buttons, errors, notifications, and emails);
  • Work with designers, data analysts and engineers to understand product capabilities and limitations and shape user experience;
  • Participate in daily product brainstorming sessions, sprints and meetings;
  • Use internal tools to enter text and coordinate translation for language localization;
  • Contribute to style guidelines, ensure voice consistency across posts, and improve workflows.

video game tester

Altagram Canada is a video game testing studio. We receive unreleased games from our customers and ensure that they are fun, playable and well translated. Our work environment is calm, relaxing and friendly. We pride ourselves on providing an environment that allows you to fully enjoy the games you play while being supported by a diverse community of gamers.

Our work schedules are project based. Our projects typically run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our hours are ideal for those looking to earn some extra income.

At Altagram Canada, you’ll be invited to try a variety of engaging and never-before-seen games, including experimental VR games, next-gen AAA games, inspiring indie games, addictive mobile games and more.

We also test the linguistic quality of the games, so it is very important to mention which languages ​​you are native of.

We are currently looking for the following languages:

When a project becomes available to you, you will be prompted to play it and note any issues you encountered while playing. Our test managers will walk you through the testing process and help you fill out concise bug reports for game developers.

Main requirements:

  • Although the games we play are very fun, it is important to be able to concentrate and be patient.
  • Video game quizzes can be repetitive at times and may require you to pay attention to very small details.
  • This role requires you to be comfortable with computers and video games.

Food Security Coordinator

As Food Safety Coordinator, you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Order and obtain a wide range of food safety technical documents based on established internal SOPs from food suppliers around the world.
  • Review and approve documentation according to food safety principles (suppliers’ food safety systems must be complete and accurate)
  • Verify that food safety documents meet customer food safety expectations before shipping to our US and Canadian customers.
  • Upload supplier food safety data to customer platforms
  • Archive electronic documents in existing internal database and maintain records
  • Communicate food safety project updates to the business team in a timely manner.
  • Review COAs against customer and industry expectations for food microbiology.
  • Review and approve nutritional information and food labeling.
  • Keep an organized record
  • Continue ongoing troubleshooting
  • Provide smooth communication channels between ArdoVLM, its customers and its suppliers.
  • Various other ad hoc tasks as needed

job requirements

  • Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
  • Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mind required for daily data reviews
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow up on issues until resolved
  • Well-developed sense of initiative while proactively seeking solutions.
  • Able to summarize complex situations in a few clear steps
  • Patient and dealer
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Spanish is an advantage.
  • Training in food safety/quality with relevant training in microbiology.
  • A first professional experience in the agri-food sector is a plus.
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with SAPB1 an asset
