parallel sections
Fostering alliances between festivals and strengthening ties is another of the objectives of the festival and that is why in this edition several collaborations have been maintained with other festivals and film laboratories, and the list has expanded with new synergies.
One more year, the prize that the Conofest Festival will award in the WOMEN section, focused on female creation, and in which 8 short films and a documentary feature will be screened, is maintained. Both in the selection and in the programming of this section, the residency of female filmmakers, Coofilm, has collaborated, which has also coordinated the Children’s Jury of the FCM-PNR and which will participate in the awarding of one of the titles that will be exhibited in the MOLÓN Cinema Section, for the little ones. With the aim of generating new audiences and future film professionals, during the festival will be opened the bases of the Competition of films made by children of the festival, through which it is committed to audiovisual training from the cradle.

The erotic mouth
The LA BOCA EROTICA section was born from the collaboration with this arts festival with a sexual theme, whose main objective is to present quality cinema that shows, in a carefree, committed, fun, risky and courageous way, the relationships in which they are present: sensuality, eroticism, love, seduction, desire, passion, lust, jealousy, conflicts and everything related to the relationship and communication between the sexes. As the director of the initiative, Javier Múñiz, explains: “we seek to offer a transversal vision of eroticism. And at the same time we wonder about the meaning of the word within a diverse society. An exploration of sexuality from a social point of view and without gender barriers”. In this section you can see a sample of international short films that belong to the winners of the last edition of the event held this summer in Berlin.
