The work of the Caminos de la Ruralidad program in Nuevo Torino has been completed

One of the projects aimed at improving the rural connection between the districts of Felicia and Nuevo Torino has become a reality. This week, the provincial road authorities arrived in the city to certify the works of the Caminos de la Ruralidad program for about 12 kilometers.

“The project is 100% complete and included a trace located approximately 3 kilometers east of the urban area along Highway No. 70. Throughout this month of July, the first 6 kilometers have been completed in the Nuevo Torino sector, and at the beginning of this month of October the other 6 kilometers were completed in the Felicia area,” said community president Juan Carlos Imsteyf.

The communal chief specified that the works will improve traffic throughout the area and ensure a better connection with the rural area of ​​the two cities.

“We are awaiting confirmation from the officials of the Ministry of Production and the government to inaugurate the works. The idea is that Governor Omar Perotti can participate in the inauguration, since he was present when the agreement was signed, ”he anticipated.

It should be noted that the action plan developed under the Caminos de la Ruralidad program provided for a survey of needs, the preparation of technical reports, implementation based on objectives or points of connectivity of the different tracks and execution of priority projects. .

In this regard, Imsteyf pointed out that work on the internal network is progressing rapidly, both in the north and south of the city.

“The work will be completed in about six months since the company is making great strides, allowing a better quality of life for the inhabitants of the town. Now we are asking for an extension of the works, given that when the project was carried out, the new housing estates that are today in the urban factory were not there. Consequently, an additional 1,100 meters of collector network have been requested to meet this demand. They are in study. With this, 100% of the commune would be reached, “anticipated the Communal Chief.

The project also includes the network of collectors and collectors of this first stage includes the execution of 11,266 m of PVC sewer pipe, consisting of 160 mm in diameter, and develops mainly in the green area of ​​the sidewalks.

“The activated sludge treatment plant and complementary facilities will be located on a property north of the city, in the extension of the provincial road No. 10, intersection with the public street,” said Imsteyf.

In relation to this work, the head of the local executive said that the company’s engineers have toured the area where the station will be located.

“In addition, the staff of the Provincial Energy Company came to measure the lot donated by a resident of the city where the 33/13.2 kV decommissioning station will be located, in the northern sector of the provincial road No. 10 towards of Felicia,” he told Imsteyf who clarified that the first works would begin in the next few days.

The community leader added that the new medium voltage line will connect Rafaela to Nuevo Torino with an investment of more than 240 million pesos.

“The project would allow the municipality to have energy for a demand of 8,000 inhabitants. It includes the construction of a 33 KV medium voltage line consisting of 26 km above ground and 1.2 km underground. The works also include the construction of the Nuevo Torino 33/13.2 kV lowering station, as well as another 5 kilometers of overhead and underground networks”.

On the other hand, Imsteyf said he was satisfied with the start of the transformation of the 70 into Safe Route.

“Preliminary work on the potholes has started between kilometers 52 and 53, roundabout Nuevo Torino (intersection with provincial road No. 10); and between kilometers 69 and 70, in the urban limit of Bella Italia. Then the reloading of the trace will be done, we are waiting for the convocation to a meeting where they will confirm the works that will be carried out in the urban part of the municipality, as well as complementary works.

In this sense, the municipal chief said that they are working on the implementation of a program of recycling and separation of waste at source.

“Thanks to the resources of the Ministry of the Environment, we acquired a press to make bales of paper, plastic and cardboard. The goal is to start at the end of this year with the waste sorting campaign with the support of the city’s educational institutions,” he said.
